The Fensor densiSCAN R5 is a portable, automatic calibrator designed to verify the switching thresholds of SF6 density monitors used in high and extra-high voltage circuit breakers and GIS installations. It simulates a drop in SF6 density to accurately check up to three pressure switching thresholds and confirm that the associated alarms are triggered correctly.

Designed for zero-emission testing, the densiSCAN R5 captures the SF6 gas during the verification process in its integrated stainless-steel reservoir before compressing and returning it to the original compartment. Integrated temperature measurement provides dynamic correction of pressure readings, while the 7" glove-operable touchscreen makes field operation simple and intuitive.
